Young data service company with growing presence searching for entrepreneurial star as Sales VP. Build the exiting business, grow through consultative selling approach to CPG. Must have hybrid background with executive presence, CPG skills, syndicated data experience, consulting experience, sales track record, and passion for the business. This star will make six figure salary + commission (how high is up?). Company HQ in Midwest, get in on ground floor as data and knowledge businesses continue to grow in importance for helping retailers and suppliers get more value from their brands and products. The key to growing our client solutions team is finding ‘hybrid-type individuals’ with diverse backgrounds that are ‘consultative’ in nature, as follows:
Career based past experiences (including a mixture of the following roles)

- Marketing
- Entrepreneurial – a ‘must’
- Sales/Business Development (consultative – selling)
- Consulting/ Consultative Selling
- Retail
- CPG
- Financial Services
Other career based experiences:
- Research – awareness, use, respect for and working knowledge of how ‘research/insights’ play a key role within an organization
- Entrepreneurial-type
- 10-15 yrs of experience of helping businesses grow in sales
- Has a ‘sense of urgency’ about them whether in sales – servicing a client – prospecting – delivering value/help to client in times of need
- Be able to provide and show ‘value’ and/or ‘SME-help (subject matter expert) in discussions with clients/prospects – someone people consider as a SME on our products/services and their business
