Big Household brands, established CPG companysearching for Insights Manager.  Join a top insights team focused on shopper and consumer insights for the Club business. Someone else does the POS analysis and category management work.  This candidate will help pioneer member, consumer insights and understanding best practices in the Household brands area for the company and the customer in a newly added role.  The company is committed to being a leader in value added knowledge as evidenced by this fast growing function on the ground in NWA.  Syndicated data, strategic thinking, analytical mind, ability to convert information into ideas and ideas in plans and plans into stories key to bringing insight driven business plans to life.  Must be a self starter to generate the concepts, hypotheses and test needs that will create new demand creation strategies and action plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will serve as an integral member of the Company’s Walmart team, developing consumer and customer centric strategies to achieve increased market share, sales, and profitability of all brands through business and analytical insight. This position will have a strong focus on Sam’s Club and will function as a solution manager analyzing and proactively responding to industry, consumer, and competitive trends to capitalize on growth opportunities to achieve compnay goals. This position is responsible for ensuring strategic integration of insights with account specific consumer promotions team and collaborates with customer team members to share best practices to influence positive changes and improve customer ROI.

REQUIERMENTS:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
  • 3+ years of related experience required
  • Proven success developing analytical studies, models, templates and tools.
  • Highly skilled, hands-on command of syndicated data, consumer demographic data, and sell-in of key initiatives.
  • Functional and technical knowledge to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment.
  • Ability to think broadly and objectively to grow business.
  • Customer focused individual dedicated to exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in category management best practices.
  • Ability to creatively find solutions to business questions and issues; ability to identify insights and the implications to the business.
  • Solid presentation and communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative/tam based style.
