This position is responsible for a variety of analytic duties supporting the Walmart business including, but not limited to:

• Communication (oral, written and presentation) – Giving or receiving information effectively; expressing and/or presenting ideas in individual and group situations (including written and nonverbal communication, and use of visual aids); adjusting language or terminology to the needs of the audience.
• Planning & Organization/Work Management – Establishing a course of action for self to accomplish a specific project or goal; allocating appropriate resources; establishing procedures to monitor the results of assignments or projects.
• Decision Making (includes both Analysis/Problem Assessment and Judgment/Problem Solving) – Securing relevant information and identifying key issues; relating and comparing data from different sources; identifying cause-effect relationships; considering resources, constraints, and values and their impact on the decision; committing to a course of action based on logical assumptions and factual information.
• Provides consumption-based insight to drive sales(e.g. assortment, shelving, pricing, promotion, and profit). Information includes in-depth data on business tracking, promotional tracking, testmarketing, point-of-sale, impact of modular/schematic revisions, as well as numerous standardized and ad-hoc reports.
• Completes analysis of data in support of sales management and customer. Reports findings, opportunities, and recommendations.

 Basic Qualification:

• 1-2 years experience in Sales, Finance, Marketing, or Operations. Previous experience working with a sales organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Nielsen/IRI Sales and Panel Data, and Retail Link. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
