David A. Melton

David A. Melton founded D.A. Melton & Associates in 1983 and established it as a leading Executive Search firm in the Consumer Packaged Goods, OTC, and Durable Goods industries.   David came to Bentonville in 2001. 

David received his Bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.

A former Nestle Sales Executive, and recruiter for Roth Young Personnel, he has 25+ years of experience in retained search and contingency recruiting.

In 2006, the company was relaunched as Crown Partners Executive Search, LLC.

Charles S. Collins

Charles S. Collins joined the firm at the end of 2005. Charlie's CPG background is 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience with the Procter & Gamble, HJ Heinz and Eastman Kodak companies and includes almost 10 years in Arkansas working with Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. He currently lives in Fayetteville, AR.

Charlie joined Procter & Gamble in 1990. He was a Brand Manager in Cincinnati, OH prior to moving to Arkansas with P&G in 1996. After P&G, Charlie joined Kodak as Sales Vice President, Wal-Mart Team Leader and later served in a similar VP role with Heinz.

Charlie received his Bachelor's degree from the US Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD in 1985 and was a commissioned Naval Intelligence Officer. He earned a Master's degree in quantitative economics from George Washington University in 1986.

Tharell Boulware

Tharell Boulware joined the firm in October of 2006.  He received his Bachelor's degree from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1986.  Tharell has 20 years of leadership experience, gained from pastoring both large and small church congregations. 

He has developed outstanding people skills, particularly in the areas of assessing, mentoring, teaching, encouraging, influencing and matching people.  He's known for challenging others to gain a greater understanding of themselves and what they can achieve in the future.  Tharell has both a caring heart for people and a steadfast focus on delivering win/win results.  He knows firsthand that people are job #1 for any organization and he knows the critical importance of company/candidate fit. 

His extensive track record of building superior relationships that deliver successful outcomes makes Tharell a tremendous addition to the Crown Partners team.

Thomas Tessmer

Thomas Tessmer entered the market research industry in 1997 and started specializing in the application of research techniques to the retail environment in 1999 when he joined Procter & Gamble.  He has designed, executed, and presented shopper insight solutions to a variety of retailers across channels and worked with clients ranging from Buyers to Senior Executives.

Thomas received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

While working as a Consumer and Market Knowledge Manager at P&G, Thomas has worked across almost all P&G's core categories with particular focus on the Health and Beauty/Pharmacy business.  His technical experience spans dozens of techniques and ranges from moderating in-depth qualitative sessions to designing and analyzing internet-based surveys to refining segmentation modeling that helps retailers define their high potential shopper.

Shelley Melton

Shelley joined D.A. Melton and Associates in 1992 after spending several years as a Systems Analyst within the Aerospace industry.

She also graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor’s degree.

She oversees all the research, administration, and technical needs of the firm.

Tiff Wimberly

Tiff Wimberly joined Crown Partners in the spring of 2006. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Missouri State University now Missouri State University.

She is a research assistant with the firm.
